Meet at Wissahickon Environmental Center ("Tree House"); directions below

Fine weather for another walk exploring Wissahickon Park.  We'll take a quick look at the exhibits in the Tree House (not in a tree; it's named for an ancient sycamore tree that once grew though the porch roof). Then, we'll wander some of many trails in the area, walking a mile or two.  Click here to learn more about the Tree House, the Andorra Nursery that once covered the area, and more.

Some of us will want to have lunch at Bruno's or The Cedars House afterward.

Getting there:  There is a small parking lot at the Tree House but space is limited; please carpool.  At the Northwestern Avenue entrance to the park (Google Map), look for a narrow lane to the right to Wissahickon Environmental Center. Drive up to the parking lot and meet us at the Tree House.  Don't ask Google Maps for directions all the way to the Tree House!

Accessibility:  Although the trails are well maintained, expect lots of walking and uneven surfaces.
