Thursday, June 8, 10 AM at Falls Library Garden to carpool, or around 10:20 at Conservatory
Laurel Hill Cemetery West, Belmont Avenue, Bala Cynwyd [Google Map].  See Directions below.

The forecast is for sun and mild weather - high in the low 70s at 10 AM.  This week we're off to Laurel Hill West again.  We'll stroll and look for graves of notables, including Teddy Pendergrass.

Afterward, some of us will have lunch in the area, perhaps cheese steaks at Mama's on Belmont Avenue, or Trails End Cafe at Cynwyd Station..

Directions:  If driving, please stop by the Falls Library to see if anyone needs a ride.  From City Line, turn right onto Belmont Ave.  In 0.8 miles, enter second gate on  the right.  As you pass the funeral home, look for small "Conservatory" signs. A little after the funeral home, you will also see a faint dashed white line in the road to the conservatory.  Lost?  Call Roger, 267-259-9029.

Accessibility:  Paved roads in good repair with gentle slopes.  Feel free to drive through the cemetery if you're not up to a long walk.

Allergy alert:  There are bees in Nature's Sanctuary and hives nearby, but plenty to see elsewhere in the cemetery.
