Carol Beam is an avid traveler, photographer and birdwatcher.  She enjoyed traveling and photography for many years but became a dedicated birdwatcher and bird photographer about twenty years ago when she realized the photos she prized the most were of birds.  Since then, Carol has taken over a dozen trips focused on birds.

Carol’s presentation of the Birds of Ecuador is from her second visit to Ecuador where she made photographs of many unique species of birds that are quite splendid. But it's not just birds! Learn more about this country and its wildlife.

Carol is a resident of the Hill at Whitemarsh where she is regularly seen with her camera spotting birds and other wildlife on foot or on her bike.  Her neighbors love opening an early morning email to find a photo of one of our neighbors-including birds and baby foxes.
