Another fine autumn day (we hope)! This week, we'll visit
Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education
(SCEE - formerly Schuylkill Valley Nature Center). The Center has 340 acres, stretching almost to the Schuylkill River, with over three miles of trails (we won't walk them all!).
Village member Lyda Doyle will show those who would want to stay up on the level paths how to go so they can see the bird blind and watch for birds there for a little while if they choose. She will also show others that don't mind some hills another way to go. They have a pond up near the visitor center and a gift shop also.
Accessibility: Paths may be uneven. We'll have flat and hilly options.
COVID precautions: Vaccinations and boosters required if carpooling.
Everyone welcome. Free. No registration required.
Walks may be rescheduled or canceled altogether, depending on the weather.
