TUESDAY MAT YOGA
July 12 - September 22 at 1 pm
Hybrid Class
(via Zoom AND in-person at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd, 3816 The Oak Road)
The classes are gentle yoga, and the instructor, Lillian Rozin, has experience teaching yoga to all ages – and folks with joint replacements, arthritis, etc. They can adapt poses and as she says, don’t do it!” Each class begins and ends with breathing and relaxation.
The Tuesday class will be offered in two formats – via Zoom AND in-person at the Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd, 3816 The Oak Road. Lillian will be at the church and will Zoom the class from there. Participants may choose to go to the church if they are vaccinated and boosted (if eligible) and feel comfortable; otherwise they may join via Zoom. Masks are optional for the in-person class unless there is a surge in Covid.
All participants will be sent the Zoom link – and may choose a different option each week. Have a mat and a strap (for the stretching movements). Many participants like the convenience of Zoom Yoga – there’s no need to travel and it’s much more convenient, but some would like to get back to in-person classes – and Lillian can provide more individualized guidance. It's yoga your way – and you can Zoom one week and go to the church the next week.
Register and pay for the series of 12 classes. The fee for Village members is $54; the fee for non-members is $72. Register and pay for the Tuesday session on the July 12 entry on the Calendar.
