Warren Williams, popular Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) speaker and retired architect, will speak onCoal Barons and Scottish Lairds - creators of a modern era for Northwest Philadelphia.

With a lifelong interest in history, Mr. Williams has lead walking tours exploring Philadelphia’s historic architecture and city planning for over 25 years and occasionally lectures on Philadelphia’s historical development. In his free time, he is an avid photographer of historic buildings and urban streetscapes.

Join us to learn how Northwest Philadelphia evolved into the unique neighborhoods we see today largely thanks to railroads and real estate development.
