CANCELLED - Special Thursday Walk

CANCELLED!  The weather forecast is for 55 degrees and rain, and the cherry blossoms are well past their prime!


Directions:  Turn into Horticulture Center from Montgomery Drive.  After passing through the gate, look for the parking lot to your left.

Special Thursday Walk!  Let's check out the cherry blossoms at the Horticulture Center in Fairmount Park.  If we're lucky, they'll still be in peak bloom.

We'll meet in the parking lot across from the entrance to the Horticulture Center, and wander.  We'll visit the avenue of cherry trees behind the Hort. Center, circle around the Japanese House, and maybe explore the wooded area nearby.

Accessibility:  We will walk some distance on paved surfaces without steps. Slopes are gentle except for the optional walk into the woods.
