Work Out to Prevent the Fall Out (or Fall Down)

Many older people fear falling - and with good reason. In the U.S., falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries among older adults. Balance and strength training can help reduce the risks of falls. Jefferson Occupational Therapy students will discuss some evidence based exercise programs. They will lead participants on the Zoom program through an easy set of exercises. Have a steady chair and comfortable clothes for the simple workout.
