What is this?
Join us for a private tour of the Design Center, 4201 Henry Avenue.
Part of Jefferson University's Special Collections., this Textile and Costume Collection is a remarkably diverse and wide-ranging museum-quality collection used for teaching, inspiration, research, and scholarship. The collection's holdings reflect a broad spectrum of design, culture, and historic periods. Our tour will explore some of the highlights of the Collection.
Our guide will bring out some of the "best of" pieces from the Collection to show us in the main gallery space. From a discussion of these pieces, we will learn about their significance and history.
Space is limited, so please register promptly here on line or at 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6).
There is no fee for the tour.
