Village Social at the Canoe Club

Members and their guests. Free (but please bring a dish to share). Registration required - online or at 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6).
Were having a potluck at the Canoe Club. Bring an appetizer, light entree, or dessert. Not sure what to bring? Whatever is tasty and easy. How about appetizers from Trader Joe, or a fruit or cheese platter? Maybe a cold pasta salad or a warm mac and cheese? We'll provide beverages--wine, beer, and non-alcoholic.
The club is headquartered in an 18th century mill, located on the bank of the confluence of the Wissahickon Creek and the Schuylkill River. The PCC is the third oldest paddling club in the country, with a long and interesting history. With friends and neighbors, enjoy this picturesque setting, with wide porches and lawn leading down to the river bank.
Directions:
There are new signs and traffic lights as part of the new SEPTA Wissahickon Transit Center which should make it easier to find the Canoe Club. Coming from East Falls on Ridge Ave., get in the left lane after the off-ramp from City Avenue, and turn LEFT at the first traffic light (just before the SEPTA Transit Center). There is an overhead sign (Canoe Club Dwy) with a left arrow. Look for East Falls Village signs.
Click here for detailed directions. There is ample parking along the driveway; if this is full, turn right at the end of the drive and follow signs for Additional Parking.
Accessibility: The driveway is rough--especially to the overflow parking, but you can be dropped off at the door. One step up to restroom.
