Helping Mature Drivers Find Their Safest Fit.

East Falls Village times - 3:00 – 4:15 pm

Sign up for a FREE 20-minute Car Check by Jefferson Occupational Therapy students, who will ensure that your car is set up properly to “fit” you best so that you can drive more safely and comfortably.

East Falls Village members should register by emailing info@eastfallsvillage.org with two (2) of these time choices: 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 3:45, 4:00, 4:15 pm.

Car Fit was created by AARP, AAA, and the American Occupational Therapy Association. It increases your safety while driving and may make driving more comfortable for you.

During the Car Check, students will check the seat and mirror settings, check general car safety features, and provide you with recommendations.

After the Car Check, an Occupational Therapy faculty member will sign off on all recommendations and answer any further questions. They will also discuss any gadgets to assist with getting in and out of the car, grabbing seat belts, etc.

The results of the Car Fit will NOT be shared with Penn DOT or anyone else and will have no effect on your driver’s license!!!

In case of heavy rain, CarFit will be canceled.

You will receive a confirmation email with your scheduled time and directions.

NOTE - Members of Village on the Ridge are also participating in CarFit, but they are being assigned earlier times.
