"Form and Content" Art Exhibit

We'll visit Taller Puertorriqueño cultural center for a solo exhibition by Doris Nogueira-Rogers, Born and educated in Brazil, she has called the Delaware Valley home for 50 year. In "Form and Content," she explores contemporary issues with intricate designs that beckon viewers to reflect on our environmental and social landscapes. Works in this exhibition embody the artist’s dedication to themes of nature and environmental preservation, such as her recurring motifs of leaf and pod-like designs, which subtly evoke the fragility and destruction of tropical forests. Special Update: Rafael Damast is the Exhibitions Program Manager and Curator at Taller Puertorriqueño. He will meet us at 10:30 and give us a personal tour of the center.
Afterward, some us may want to go to Tierra Colombiana Restaurant, 10 minutes away by car, for hearty Latin American and Caribbean cuisine. Most salads are around $10 to $13. Many entrees, $20 to $30 (some much higher!). Click here to view or download the menu (PDF).
