Back to autumn weather Thursday - mostly sunny, with temperature around 60 at 10:00 AM. We will have a special walk at the Upper Roxborough Reservoir Preserve. The old reservoir is being reclaimed by nature, with the help of volunteers who have planted thousands of trees and done much more. The basins now have a mix of pond (dry until the next rain!), wetland, meadow and young forest. A flat trail around the perimeter is a bit less than a mile. Walk around once or twice as you wish. Some of us might have lunch afterward at nearby Maria's Ristorante, Ridge and Summit.
Accessibility: The path is flat, but some parts may be uneven. There is a ramp or steps up to the path.
Everyone welcome. Free. No registration required.
