The Honorary British Consul for Greater Philadelphia
will speak on
“Reflections: Britain During the Reign of King Charles III”
Sunday, June 25 – 4 to 5:30 pm
Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd
3820 The Oak Road

A former resident of East Falls, Oliver St. Clair Franklin has served as the Honorary Consul for Greater Philadelphia since 1998. His ties to England go back to his studies at Balliol College at the University of Oxford. In 2007, he hosted the then-Prince of Wales and Camilla when they visited Philadelphia.
In November, he was appointed a Commander of the British Empire, the highest honor afforded to a non-Englishman. The CBE is just below knighthood. The Queen signed the official paperwork just three days before she died in September.
Parking & Accessibility
While people can park on The Oak Road in front of the church, that is a long walk with a number of steps. For a shorter walk, park on Coulter or Stokley Streets behind the church. There are about 5 steps into the Parish Hall.
NOTE: There is a handicap ramp into the church – up the driveway from The Oak Road. If you will need access to the ramp, please email info@eastfallsvillage by June 22 or call the Village phone, 267-444-4507.
