About this event
Tour of Edgar Allen Poe House and Pollinator Garden - CANCELED!
The forecast is for better air tomorrow, but still moderate; and things can change. We'll reschedule for late summer or autumn; watch The Weekly Update.
Join us for a tour of Edgar Allen Poe's home in Philadelphia, where he may have written "The Tell-Tale Heart" (no,there is not a body under the creaking floorboards of this house). We'll also have a special guided tour of the pollinator garden that was developed and is maintained by the Independence Hall Chapter of the DAR.
Meet at the Falls Library at 9:45 to carpool, or join us at the house at 10:30. Please register online or at 267-444-4507 (voice or text, M-F, 9-6), so we can tell the museum how many to expect.
Accessibility: The tour involves stairs, narrow hallways, and a dark basement.
Everyone welcome. Free. Registration required.
