Lovett Memorial Library, 6945 Germantown Avenue
The Philadelphia Death Café is a group-directed conversation where we can freely discuss matters pertaining to death. There is no agenda, objective, or promotion of goods or services.
Join us to share thoughts on matters of death, dying, funerals, and much more.
EFV members Ron Palacio and his wife have participated in the Philadelphia Death Café which meets in Center City. Ron says that about 25 people attend the monthly sessions and that they break into small groups, and the members and topics vary each time. "Despite the fact that we certainly talk about life, dying, and grief, there is a lot of humor from the many different stories and cultures and venues that people experience."
Note: This is not a grief support group or a counseling program.
