EFHS Historic Photo Night
Old East Falls

The East Falls Historical Society will present an informal evening of historic photographs on November 28, 2018, 6:30 p.m., at the Falls of Schuylkill Library, 3501 Midvale Avenue. Rarely seen images from the early 20th century created by early Falls historians A. C. Chadwick and Charles K. Mills will be shown and comments invited. In addition, anyone with interesting old photographs to show and discuss is invited to bring up to two to the Library at 4:30 pm on the 28th for scanning and projection at the evening event. Alternatively, a scan in jpg format can be emailed to Steven Peitzman at peitzmansj@gmail.com, or inquiry may be made to Patty Cheek at pcheek2002@yahoo.com or 215-438-8539. The program is free and refreshment will be served. The East Falls Historical Society was founded in 2004 to explore and preserve the history of the Falls of Schuylkill and East Falls.
