Valley Forge National Park is the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of the Continental Army.

An excellent way to see the Park is on the trolley car 90-minute tour.  We will take the 11 a.m. tour, starting at the Visitors' Center and going to all points of the Park with stops at the Muhlenburg Brigade Huts and Washington's Headquarters.

The trolley car tour is ADA accessible.  The cost is $14.50 for seniors, payable at the Visitors' Center.

Please register promptly here on line or at 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6), as we will need to reserve spaces on the trolley in advance.  The deadline for registration is October 17.  Tickets must be picked up at the Visitors' Center at least 30 minutes before our 11 a.m. tour.

After our tour we can have an optional lunch at the Black Powder Tavern, 1164 Valley Forge Road, Wayne.

We will meet at the library at 9:45 to carpool.
