Volunteer Open House
Monday, October 23, 10:30 AM Mifflin School - Conrad Street & Midvale Avenue For over 3 years, East Falls Village volunteers have been reading to small groups of children as part of our “Read to Me” program. We have also reopened the library for classes to visit one class at a time from 8:45 to 11 on Mondays and Fridays.
We need 3 volunteers for 2-hour shifts (9 to 11 each Monday and Friday morning). We’ll read a story to each K-3 class, help them select books and check them out. There are still spaces left for November for the Library and spaces for Read to Me as well!
NOTE: We require that volunteers in Read to Me and the Library Project have certain clearances. Please come even if you do not have the clearances yet but are interested in learning about these two programs that help the children at Mifflin with their reading!

For entrance to the school, push button with the red light, then pull on the left door - you might not hear the buzzer. Bring Box Tops for Education – they provide the school with some additional funds.
