Join us to watch the Chenrezig Tibetan Buddhist Center's Spiritual Director, the Venerable Losang Samsen, create a sacred sand mandala. In 1988, at the direction of the Dalai Lama, Venerable Losang traveled to the U.S. to demonstrate the meditative art of Buddhist sand painting - the first time a Tibetan sand mandala had ever been shown in the West The Venerable Losang has taught Tibetan language at the University of Pennsylvania and has an illustrious career creating mandalas by invitation, in Europe and the United States.
