The universe of Smart Technology primarily in the home has elevated the way we live our lives. Becoming confident and knowledgeable about Smart Technology use in the home can be intimidating.
Students from Jefferson East Falls Occupational Therapy Program will describe and demonstrate how Smart Technology – from smartphones and motion detector lights that turn on when one gets up at night to brands such as Google Home, Amazon’s Alexa Echo, and Philips Hue Lightbulbs can help us live safe and independent lives as we age. Smart Technology can help individuals with reminders, medication management, safety within the home, to name a few.
This free program is sponsored by East Falls Village and is open to all – including family members who may be interested in how Smart Technology can help their parents be safe and independent.
