"From the Schuylkill to the Hudson: Landscapes of the Early American Republic" is an exhibition of American landscape painting and prints from the first century of U.S.history, with a special emphasis on views of the Philadelphia region.

Philadelphia paintings by Thomas Birch, Thomas Doughty,  and others are included among the more familiar Hudson River paintings of Albert Bierstadt and others.

Admission is $12 for seniors.

We will take the 10:23 train from East Falls or if you prefer, meet us at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 118-128 N Broad Street, a little before 11 for the 11 tour.
