Some of us have been around long enough to remember Zake’s Cakes on Indian Queen, where Fiorino is now.
Well, for the past 21 years, Marlene Zakes and her brother have had this café in the Fort Washington area. We went there for lunch last year and it was delicious, with great service, so we’re returning this month. They still have cakes, but also a range of breakfast and lunch items. Most salads and sandwiches are around $15 to $18. Click here to see the menus.
