Four Surprising Obstacles to Successful End of Life Planning

… and How to Overcome Them

Mark Peterson, ED.D

Tuesday, May 11, 7 PM

Via Zoom

Sponsored by Age With Us

End of life health care planning isn’t an easy subject. And after you’ve decided, things may not go as you want them to. Your family, doctors, the law and even you yourself can be obstacles.

This presentation is about how to neutralize the obstacles and maybe even turn them into resources. You can avoid pain, emotional distress of your loved ones, and a loss of control over your health care if you take these actions.

It is challenging, but it is a better way to leave this life.

There is no charge for this event, but you must register in advance by clicking here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email.

Our speaker:

A 2010 NY Times article about a dying man’s family losing control of his medical care led retired psychologist Mark Peterson to begin a passionate odyssey into exploring end of life issues. He has since developed a successful ten-hour course, End of Life Planning: Having Your Voice to the End of Your Life, and he has published an eBook, Your Life, Your Death, Your Choice: How to Have Your Voice to the End of Your Life.

Age With Us offers practical information about where and how to age.  We are entirely volunteer-run, which allows us to keep our programs very low cost and often free.
