We will take the 9:48 train from the EF station, which arrives at Jefferson Station at 10:02, or meet at the library at 9:45 to carpool, or if you prefer, meet us at the Mint (5th and Arch) at about 10:30. Be sure to bring ID, as this is a Federal Building and you will be asked to show it.
Please register here on line or at 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6) so we know to look for you.
There is no entrance fee.
An optional lunch and visit to the nearby Federal Reserve (6th and Arch), to see "Money in Motion", will follow. Philadelphia is the home of the First Bank of the U>S>, and that's why the Philadelphia Fed is eager to tell you about the nation's financial history. Among other inter-active experiences, test your skills at detecting counterfeits, and learn about the new security features on the latest currency.
