READ TO ME!
Wednesday, June 7 from 10 am to 12 noon.
Reading aloud is the single most important thing that keeps youngsters reading and learning.
YOU can help. East Falls Village members and volunteers read the first Wednesday of each month to kids at Mifflin, our neighborhood school.
During the morning, each volunteer will read to about three groups of 2 or 3 students each. The teachers will select the books for reading to their K -2 students.
All volunteers reading to children must have a child abuse and a security clearance. If you’d like to read, but do not have these clearances, contact Susan Smith – susanbsmith11@gmail.com or 215-842-1143.
