Ride-sharing is a popular and relatively inexpensive way to get around, but you need to have a smartphone and download the apps.
How do you do this? How do the drivers find you? How do you pay? Maybe you have the apps, but are reluctant to use them.
Sue Burnett, member of the Village Tech Team, has used Uber and Lyft. She will show to how to download their apps and how to book rides using them.
And now you can use these services even if you don’t have a smartphone or tablet, thanks to GoGoGrandparent. And you don’t have to be a grandparent to use it!
Sue has researched GoGoGrandparent and she’ll also show some videos of people using GoGoGrandparent.
One of the benefits of East Falls Village membership is having volunteers drive you to a medical appointment or another errand, but if a volunteer driver is not available, GoGoGrandparent, Uber, or Lyft can be a backup.
