LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON

This is an informal social program with music featuring songs about love sung by Suzanne Schneider with piano solos and accompaniment by Gayl Koster.

Cathedral Hall will be turned into a nightclub for the Cabaret; refreshments served will include appetizers, wine, alcoholic punch and non-alcoholic beverages.

Throughout the program EFV members, CV residents and guests will be free to move around or sit at tables as they enjoy refreshments, socialize, listen to music, or visit the CV information table - an opportunity for Village members and CV residents to get to know one another.

Suzanne Schneider sang on the radio and in talent shows as a child.  She also played leading roles in university productions and sang with the Savoy Company until career responsibilities demanded more of her time.  Forty years later, as a semi-retired psychologist and President of the Center for the Gifted, Suzanne joined a senior singing group, began taking voice lessons, and once again started singing solos in public performances.

Gayl Koster, pianist, was a librarian and administrator for the Free Library of Philadelphia for twenty-four years as well as an organist and choir director at Summit and Falls Presbyterian and other churches.  Since her retirement, Gayl has enjoyed practicing with soloists and accompanying them at concert programs and recitals, as well as just for fun.  She also still substitutes as a church organist now and then.

Please register here on line or at 267-444-4507 (M-F, 9-6) so we can provide name tags, and tell Cathedral Village how many will attend.

When you register you will receive an email advising you where to park.
